We are Eddie and Lorraine Salas, and we are so grateful that you are here. It gives us great joy to be able to share the story behind Bet Lehem Bakery with you!
It is a true story of faith, healing, and the miraculous fulfillment of God’s Word spoken over our lives. We pray that you will be inspired and that the seed of faith will be planted and grow in your hearts to receive your own miracle!

On Christmas night in 2019, our pastors, Dr. Kiruba Stephen and Dr. Pradeep Stephen of EL Bethel International Ministries Church in Port Jervis, New York, visited our home to celebrate the holiday with some of our church members. At the end of a beautiful evening of fellowship, Pastor Kiruba prayed over our family and shared a special Word from the Lord:
Living Bread would come out of our household.

At the time, we had no idea what that meant. But we have personally witnessed over 30 years of knowing our pastors, that when God speaks through Pastor Kiruba, it always comes to pass…down to the smallest detail! Her prophetic accuracy has been 100% consistent, precise, and confirmed time after time, in our lives and in the lives of many others around the world.

This Word from the Lord was no exception.
​
Several years passed and we kept that promise alive in our hearts. In December 2023, we began baking bread for our own family using freshly milled grains as part of a healthier lifestyle. The first attempts failed, but I was determined to make bread for a special church celebration. After yet another collapsed loaf, I said to the Lord in a simple prayer:
“Lord, I want to make bread for my church family!
Please help me bake the bread!”

Immediately, I turned around and felt led to write down several recipe adjustments on the white board on my refrigerator. I had no experience in making bread or explanation for the changes, but when I followed them, the next batch produced a perfect loaf, and then five more beautiful loaves- each perfectly baked!
It was a direct answer to my prayer, and the bread became affectionately known as the “Church Bread” because God gave me the recipe and I was able to bring the bread to Church! It was amazing to us how good it tasted and we joyfully shared this special bread that has 40 of the 44 nutrients needed to sustain life! It was such a delicious blessing that we were excitedly giving it out, never imagining what God was about to do!

Promises given, Promises fulfilled!
In February 2024, Pastor Kiruba called us very unexpectedly. The Lord had spoken to her again, this time revealing that He was giving us a bread business! Though we were shocked, we received the Word with great joy, and under her guidance, Bet Lehem Bakery LLC was formed within one week!
It is important to emphasize that Pastor Kiruba prays for so many people that when she called us that day, she had not even recalled that prophetic prayer nearly 5 years earlier on Christmas Day 2019! I remembered what the Lord had spoken and told Pastor Kiruba and she confirmed that this was the physical fulfillment of what God promised our family!
We also had no prior business plans or baking experience, yet God made it very clear that He was the One birthing and establishing this bakery! Through Pastor Kiruba, the Lord gave us the name Bet Lehem Bakery which is Hebrew for “House of Bread” and the foundational verse, Deuteronomy 8:3. We were counseled to fast and pray and then start the process of registering as a business.
A few weeks later, Pastor Kiruba told us that the Lord was leading us to purchase a bread oven and that God was saying that all needed equipment and debts would be paid off “in just a few months.” This required great faith, because we were not in a financial situation to even be able to get a personal loan or a business loan. We had lost our home to foreclosure several years ago and we had many delinquencies from when I was sick that we were trying to recover from with God’s help.
But we obeyed, trusting the Word of the Lord fully because we knew that every prophetic word spoken to us through Pastor Kiruba over the past 27 years has come to pass with 100% accuracy! We stepped out in faith, spending over $15,000 dollars in credit card debt to begin this work, believing God’s promise.
We are overjoyed to share that by November 2024, every bakery debt we had taken on was miraculously paid off, just as the Lord had spoken through our dear Pastor! This was also a fulfillment of a prophecy that was given in the month of October 2023 to our church and my husband and I had prayed throughout the month expecting God to do what He promised… and He overwhelmingly did!
The Lord has caused Bet Lehem Bakery LLC to flourish and we now sell to stores and churches and have loyal retail customers who have had many improvements in their digestion and their overall health since starting to eat the fresh milled whole grains that God has given that we use in our recipes. Many people have contacted me personally to tell me that they can only tolerate our products and will no longer buy anything else.
We now have over 30 items including numerous types of delicious breads, cookies, sourdough waffles, muffins, pizza crusts and a selection of Gluten Free cookies. Our baked goods are primarily refined sugar free, and we also have bread with no sweetener at all. It is very important to us that we use high quality, whole food ingredients that are good for the body.
As we finally launched this website, it has been very exciting because none of this has been humanly possible! I could not even make good bread in a bread-maker on my own! God has done this- He gave the recipe and He has given the ability to do all of this!
We are looking forward to the next phase of this exciting journey as the Lord is expanding the business and we are working on the process of being able to serve the Jewish communities by providing Kosher products and more Gluten Free items.

True Healing and Restoration
This is all especially meaningful to me personally because I should not be physically capable of running a bakery at all. Before coming to EL Bethel International Ministries Church in 2017, I had been suffering from debilitating illnesses for over 15 years and was legally disabled since 2010.
My diagnoses included:
Psoriatic Arthritis, Lupus, Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Hypothyroidism, Chronic pain, Brain fog, a sleep disorder that would cause me to fall asleep without notice, and extreme fatigue along with other additional autoimmune and neurological conditions. I also had residual numbness, poor balance and other challenging symptoms after having Transverse Myelitis and being rushed to the ICU in March 2006. I was hospitalized again the very next month after having a severe bout of Viral Meningitis that affected my ability to read well or walk a straight line. I was completely dependent on a long list of medications, including over 10 years of heavy narcotic pain medications.
I should have died many times- God was very merciful to me.

Our marriage and family life were falling apart and I was in the lowest place of my life in July 2017. Although I was in a place of deep bitterness, God told Pastor Kiruba to come speak to me after not seeing me for years. She prayed for me and my family with the love and tears of Jesus and invited me to church the next day. After the prayer I had been released from the prison of bitterness and everything else that was keeping me from coming back to Jesus, I was able to accept the invitation, not realizing my life was about to drastically change!

Through the powerful, anointed ministry of
Pastors Kiruba and Pradeep Stephen, Jesus healed me completely
with full medical documentation confirming it.
​
From July to December 2017, every diagnosis was reversed! In the years that followed, not only my body was healed, but my mind, my emotions and my spirit were healed! My marriage has not only been restored, but we now have a beautiful, loving and committed relationship that is built upon the Rock of our salvation- Jesus Christ. My husband and I have great respect for each other, which sadly did not exist before.
​
God has done miracle after miracle for us since coming to EL Bethel International Ministries Church- placing us in this House of God and giving us our Pastors and their family as living examples of the love of Jesus. This has truly changed the course of our lives and we have never been the same. Jesus has transformed us and healed our spirits, souls, minds and bodies and completely restored our marriage. He has taken us from a place of years of lack and brought us into a place of overflow!

Through every storm of life, Jesus has been the Anchor of our souls
and we have not been and will never be overtaken!
These are the only reasons that we have the strength, clarity and unity of heart, mind and spirit today to be able to steward this bakery that God birthed and established. Bet Lehem Bakery exists because God made the impossible possible! Bet Lehem Bakery was given to be a blessing for us and to enable us to be a blessing to many others. The full scope of what God has given is still unfolding, and we would love to have you join us on this very exciting journey!
